Hello! My name is Amanda.

I’m an occupational therapist with a passion for all things assistive technology. I began practicing in 2009. When I’m not working on Equip2Adapt, you can find me caring for patients in both hospital and long-term care settings. My expertise spans wheeled mobility, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), DIY assistive technology, neurological rehabilitation, acute care, and long-term care environments. Aside from rehabilitation technology, I’m also well-versed in holistic health care, mental health, and wellness practices.

Equip2Adapt was born in 2023 out of a desire to supercharge my spark for assistive technology, sharing it with you along the way. From DIY guides to comprehensive product reviews and practical resources, you’ll find it all right here.

When I’m not working, you can find me outside! Whether I’m in the garden, at the farmers market, or on the trails—I’ll take all the fresh air and sunshine I can find.
